So the men’s shows are over and I don’t know about you, but I’m really suffering. Kind of like SAD. Withdrawal from all the fabulous fashions we just saw. But fear not, the menswear gifts just keep on coming. Forgoing the traditional men’s schedule slot Anthony Vaccarello has decided to move his Saint Laurent man to join his woman in February, the 28th to be specific. Who said that men never compromise? Ahead of that he’s given us a little taste, just to whet the appetite, if you will, in the form of a Collier Schorr shot campaign. And of course, I love. LOVE. Black and white. Moody. A little collage-y. Looks like somebody went to art school. I haven’t made a collage in much longer than I care to mention, and I have to say I miss it. Scrapbooking every summer and letting the whole school know what you were up to. If I were to do one know like the Saint Laurent AW17 campaign they would all be dead jealous. Just me hanging with my model friends wearing black vinyl jeans or red lace-ups. Just enough to set me up until the main event in Paris. And I can’t wait. And just because I’m greedy and want a bit of everything, I was delighted to see there was also an accompanying video. Full of boys fighting each other in leather. Just the kind of homoerotic action I need to start my weekend.
