SAINT LAURENT: DRESSES SKY FERREIRA FOR THE NME AWARDS
There’s a little bit of CBGB’s era Debbie Harry about Ms. Ferreira. She’s the kind of celebrity aloof enough for me to wanna know more (haven’t seen her knickers in any tabloids), and has the easy stylings of someone you might find knocking round some party in Peckham on a Thursday eve. I.e- I can kind of imagine being mates with her. Difference being her easy stylings come care of Saint Laurent. All adds up to the fact that I’m a little obsessed. Playing ‘Lost in my bedroom’ on loop now. Which sounds a little like a Tiffany track, but tinged with indie vocals.
