Valentine’s Day has been and gone, but we were reliving it all over again at Ryan Lo. His message for AW17? “Yes, all we’re looking for is LOVE from someone else!” He’s not wrong there. He showed that love in the form of – wait for it – if mermaids washed up on shore, grew legs and became a hip-hop Harajuku star in the process. Pearls, ribbons, bows you name it. And pink. Lots and lots of pink. And before you knew it you were saying hey Kitty gurl to Hello Kitty herself. Popping up on tops, and most importantly those tulle prairie dresses that closed the show. And there were looks for the boys too. 90s B-Boys re-imagined in Ryan Lo’s universe. He took those camo pants and raised them to fuzzy heights. And all with matching bucket hats by Stephen Jones. Well, we love you Ryan Lo, and we hope you feel the same way too?
