ROLAND MOURET: A NEW FILM SET IN THE PALAIS ROYAL GARDENS
How did the zebra get it’s stripes? Buren painted them. Apparently. At least that was the case for the columns in the gardens of the Palais Royal. This was the location for this new film from Roland Mouret. Like zebras and Buren’s columns, this film has a lot of black and white going on. It also has a rather beautiful girl in it. See how she marches around like she owns the place. Though she’s dressed so well that we think she might in fact own the place. Make sure she doesn’t catch you on her property. If the rumours are true, she’ll wallop you with that wonderful bag if she does.
