Here at Ten, we are truly saddened to hear the news that architect Zaha Hadid has passed away of a heart attack aged 65. A fearless visionary, whose designs included the Serpentine Gallery and the London Olympic Aquatic centre, she paved the way for other female architects, and her death will be a huge loss to the industry. To borrow the words of the always wise Cozette McCreery, she’s “off to have heated debates with the Architect In The Sky.” Our thoughts go out to Zaha’s family and friends, and all who knew her. Rest in peace.
