And there she goes again… Is there anything Bad Gal Riri can’t do? In the latest addition to her booming fashion CV, Rihanna contributed to this season being the most spectacle-oriented fashion month to date. Forget about a catwalk with some elevator music in the background – this season is all about the performative aspect of dressing. And who better to take the spotlight next but the performer extraordinaire, Miss Fenty herself. In a Coachella-level show set in Brooklyn’s Barclays Centre, Rihanna presented the next collection for her Savage x Fenty lingerie line.
While most details are still under wraps (all the attendees – including our very own Insta-addict Sophia Neophitou – had their phones locked up), with the show exclusively airing via Amazon on September 20th when the collection hits the fashion’s department of the website. What we do know now is that Rihanna opened the show with a dance number in a perfect X formation, with the list of musical performances including Halsey, 21 Savage, Migos, DJ Khaled and Tierra Whack, to name but a few. But until the show actually airs, we only have four images, including one of Riri in a sexy ass outfit throwing it down like in one of her music videos. Let that keep you entertained until the 20th…
