RICHARD NICOLL: LONDON A/W12

Modern Times. Like the Charlie Chapin film. The same kind of factory set up, the catwalk raised, snaking around the seamstresses and photographer taking pictures of the girls which were then projected onto the wall. The clothes were both on the models and hung on rails around the room by colour. Bright cobalts, oranges and white. Rather classic but beautifully cut shift dresses and trousers and everything in between. We’re calling it going behind the seams.
