RALPH LAUREN: BACKSTAGE GIRLS, NY FASHION WEEK A/W 14
This to me is the clothing equivalent o the Spice Girls singing 2 Become 1, except that in this case Ralph Lauren Collection and Polo Ralph Lauren become 1. The show hailed the arrival of a new Polo collection for ladies, which Ralph decided to debut on his main line’s runway because why the hell not. I kind of like the contrast between the polished and put together whiteness and the rugged, outdoorsy americana. It reminds me of a wayward child and chic mother pairing.
