“I wasn’t trained as a fashion designer and I wasn’t so much into the product, but then I became very interested in it and I had a desire to find an audience who would really believe in it for daily lives. The fashion world is more open now. It used to be more elite and it was almost forbidden to talk about. Now you have a huge contrast between an audience that wants something unique and an audience who wants to be part of the aesthetic.”
