Public School’s Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne have recently been appointed heads of DKNY. The DK is new, but that NY stuff is in their blood, and marched the catwalk in their spring 2016 collection. A restrained palette of skyscraper greys, blues and lotsa navy and black contrasted with brilliant white poplin, in easy sportswear-influenced shapes with drawstrings puckering through, part practicality, part aesthetic interruption. Modern, urban and oddly sexy.
