Remember that concept of sportswear? American sportswear. Not as in ‘exercise clothes’, but clothes the have an ease and wearability to them. Well Pringle of Scotland was exactly that. Elongated, layered silhouettes of loose, almost at times cob web knits, the looseness of which almost echoed, in the shape of the holes the argyle for which they’re so well known. The argyle motif made a repeat appearance in fact in the form of diamond shaped satin patches appliquéd onto delicate meshes. The collection apparently reflected an ethereal holiday in Scotland, the lightness of it could make you reconsider Scotland as a holiday destination. Maybe August? And only if dressed in Pringle.
