“Start spreading the news, you’re leaving today, I want to be part of it…” That’s right, break out into your best Sinatra because today Prada have unveiled that for their 2019 Cruise show, only the second time they have dedicated a show to this exotically themed season, they will be heading Stateside to the City That Never Sleeps. We might not be leaving today (it’s on May 4th) but we certainly do want to be part of it. Following Gucci and Louis Vuitton, who both revealed that their Cruise shows would be taking place several days apart on the French Riviera, Prada’s announcement means our May diaries are filling up fast. Although no exact location has been revealed for Prada’s show, or any for that matter, you can be sure the venue will a special one following last year’s showing at Prada’s very own Fondazione Prada Osservatorio. As soon as we do hear though, you’ll know. But anyway- May 4th. Clear your diaries of everything now. Birthdays of old friends, important medical appointments, weddings, drop the lot, Prada is always priority.
