Monday’s a difficult day. The lady at EAT agreed. “I am having the deepest Monday feelings,” our favourite barista Rita told us this morning. “And excuse me for my awful fringe.” Well Rita, and people of the world, we have a delicious fashion morsel with which to alleviate your weekly depression bad hair day-based woes, courtesy of Prada. If we weren’t feeling so emotionally and physically fragile we would drop down on our knees and pray to Miuccia herself. For just this morning they released the latest in their Dis Dressed series, Dis Dressed Redux, a selection of images shot backstage at Prada’s AW16 show by the wonderful Willy Vanderperre. As Prada say, “in a series of exclusive images he reveals the intensity of a complex aesthetic universe with myriad references, and at the same time offers a reflection on the present day”.
“The photographer’s lens takes us backstage at the Prada Men’s and Women’s Fall/Winter 2016 runway shows to examine the aesthetics and references between the two collections,” they continue. “This reflection concludes the exploratory path that began in January with ‘dis-dressed’ and continued in February with ‘dis-dressed epilogue’”. And ent it beautiful? Take a closer look at the rest of the images, on Prada.com now…
