PRADA: MILAN A/W 12 BACKSTAGE GIRLS DAY 2
After the men’s show a few weeks back we were half expecting to discover a selection of Hollywood actresses, or perhaps some seasoned supers backstage at Prada. But ever unpredictable, Miuccia’s herd of beauties sported a look which defied age defintion. Pale streaks in staggeringly long manes (courtesy of the brilliant Guido Palau), could have been rebellious touches of blonde or otherwise the signs of age. Young or old, this was a woman who had seen and accomplished things. From a distance, clusters of embellishment resembled medals, and even the shoes which seemed to have been dipped in accenting shades, bore signs of the fashion trenches.
