There’s mention in the press notes of Nordic symbolism. A frosty thread of it even. And to be honest this did feel rather frosty. The Peter Pilotto lady is a cool lady. To put it in Nordic terms, she is the Agnetha to Abba’s Frida, white blonde, blue eyed and kind of hard. There’s something a little space princess about her coolness which might have something to do with the mirrored and silver set which kind of suggests space ship, or as Garth puts it, “I feel like I’m in a lava lamp and its bubbling”. Anyway, the clothes. Think long straight lines in icy pastel shades, pale blues and white, richly embroidered with Nordic motifs and worn with duffle coats. Skirts flounce and are belted with simple sashes adding a slight Haight-Ashbury twist to the whole Nordic ice princess facade.
