Can we just quickly say, clothes look best when shot against a rock. Don’t believe us, take a look at Peter Pilotto’s cruise collection. Clothes, looking good against a back drop of rock. There’s an element of folky-ness to this. Is folky-ness even a word? Well, it is now. But it’s a Mediterranean folk. Think small Greek island. Though that could just be the sandals, but something about the embroidery, the colours, the shape of the bell sleeves brings to mind fishing village. Not that you would fish in this. Apparently, well according to the world wide web, Peter Pilotto wanted to “imbue their resort collection with a sense of the antique”. These clothes look at once familiar and not.
