You’re twistin’ my melon man. Calling all the 24-hour party people, London skatewear brand Palace has teamed up with Madchester’s finest, the Happy Mondays, for a brand new collection. And yes, it’s as good as you could imagine it to be.
Whilst Bez and Shaun Ryder’s days of dropping E’s inside the Haçienda may be long gone, this six-piece capsule would be appropriate attire for any hedonistic night on the dancefloor. Up for grabs are a t-shirt, Harrington jacket and bucket hat in a matching print of the band’s technicoloured logo, a button-up shirt slapped with a pic of the pair back in the day and another top, this time emblazoned with Bez, shaking his signature pair of maracas.
And that’s not all. Both Ryder and Bez appear in an unboxing video of the collection that easily topples any Zoella Lush haul, we’ll tell you that. Cracking more than a few jokes here and there, the pair seem both impressed and honoured by Palace’s homage to the band. Proper clobber, inspired by one of the greats. Hallelujah, indeed.
