So the second season of Alessandro Dell’Acqua’s relaunched brand No.21, and he presented effortless modern solutions to the summer season – wide cotton trousers, floaty paper fine chiffons and tiny white skirts that had volume at the back and almost flat kilt fronts. I loved the play of texture, one against the other; knitted front dresses with lace and silk backs. Clever use of this mashing together gave a more casual modern appeal to the collection.
