London’s Maddest Christmas Market Is Back For Round Three

It’s the first weekend out of lockdown and you’re probably gagging for a.) a pint and b.) a bit of retail therapy. For the third year running, London’s weirdest and most wonderful Crimbo market, XTrade, makes a triumphant return. Set up by the guys and girls behind Anal House Meltdown club night, you can now shop fashions, prints, books and sculptures from the likes of Princess Julia, Jenkin van Zyl and Max Allen.

The pop up space is taking place at 125 Charing Cross Road across this weekend, with certain pieces also making their way online. The likes of James Davison, Sunil Gupta and Louise Gray have also created a series of greeting cards, with all proceeds going towards Albert Kennedy Trust, Free Black University, ELOP, Positive East, and SWARM.

XTrade will be christened with an Anal House lockdown party on Zoom tonight at 8pm, where you can throw on your best frock – or wear nothing at all – for a night full of festive cheer and banging tunes. ‘Appy holidays.

XTrade is open until Sunday, December 6 at 125 Charing Cross Road, WC2H 0EW.
