MJ JONES TAKES TO THE PEARLY SKIES
MJ Jones is the luxury label where tech and the traditional meet. For its latest, precious jewellery collection, founder and creative director Mr. Matthew J. Jones added water-weathered pearls to the mix. Called the Pearl Skies collection, the seven-piece edit has diamonds up its hooha, nine carat gold aplenty and for the very first time, androgynous Akoya and Keshi pearls inspred by the strength of nature and the weightlessness of rolling clouds dotting the blue sky.
It should come as no surprise that to acquire such opulent accessories will cost you a pretty penny. Ranging between £2,500 and £6,500 a pop, MJ Jones’ progressive jewellery is offered in black, white or multi-colour treatments, echoing notions of freedom in the finest form of ornamentation.
LOUIS VUITTON’S NEW EMPREINTE FINE JEWELLERY IS ETCHED WITH LV EMBLEMS
When it comes to jewellery, who better to adorn us than Louis V? Honestly, no one. That’s why its especially exciting that the Parisian maison has just unveiled a brand new, absolutely timeless and utterly genderless luxury accessories edit. From the house’s artistic director of jewellery and watches, Francesca Amfitheatrof, LV motifs are immediately distinct, etched into 18-karat yellow, white or pink gold goodies.
Dubbed Empreinte, the collection has been a brand staple since its conception in 2004, boasting bright strokes, clear lines and high-brow materials. Now, signed by monogram flowers and LV initials the latest edit offers stackable and transformable medallions, earrings, ear cuffs and necklaces. Plus, interlaced rings and bracelets share the love in human relationships and a long necklace doubles as a multi-strand bracelet.
HOMECOMING X PATTA X JAMESON TOUCHES DOWN IN ATLANTA, LONDON AND LAGOS
Courtesy of Homecoming, comes a new collaboration with Amsterdam based streetwear brand Patta and Jameson and its totally rad. Boasting bright, electric hues contrasted by demure foundations, the graphic t-shirts, shorts and sandals on offer are sure to fly off the shelves.
Coming in four fresh colourways, pink, green, black and white – each of which pays tribute to the cities that Homecoming’s #AllConnect tour will touch down in: Atlanta, London and Lagos – the graphic garms will be available for you to cop in-person at each of the landmark #AllConnect events, as well as online. Continuing Homecoming’s history of reinvesting back into Africa, all profits from the sale of this street-ready gear will go straight to Lagos’ WAF Skatepark, supported by Nigeria’s first skateboarding company WafflesNCream. For Homecoming it’s time to connect, but do it in Homecoming x Patta.
