Edward Crutchley gets trippy for SS22
Fancy a trip? Edward Crutchley‘s got you covered. For his SS22 campaign, the London-based designer brings the world of British cartoons into play. Inspired by 18th-century newspaper caricatures drawn by the likes of James Gillray and Max Beerbohm, models come dressed in the season’s offerings, ranging from sequinned knits to ballroom gowns with an added little twist. Integrating exaggerated and deformed body shapes, the campaign’s bonkers attitude will leave you in a twist.
A-Cold-Wall lets artistic instinct run wild for AW22
Set at the heart of Tate Modern’s Turbine Hall, A-Cold-Wall‘s AW22 catwalk film, made with 10 Magazine collaborator Rob Rusling, presented a gaggle of diverse models strutting through the concrete halls of the gallery. The collection was a celebration of wearable art, with creative director Samuel Ross choosing to treat each piece like a blank canvas. From printed anoraks to paint-splattered sweatshirts and metallic-crusted bottoms, the label’s AW22 collection ushers in a new dawn for A-Cold-Wall.
