Louis Vuitton’s pre-fall menswear collection bids Virgil Abloh adieu
It was always going to be an emotional one – the second chapter of Louis Vuitton’s pre-fall menswear collection is its last under the visionary eye of the late Virgil Abloh. The audacious assemblage is a heartfelt homage and a melancholy final farewell. Dubbed Daybreak, it’s a fusion of the functional and the radical, offering baggy tailoring, blousons rather than blazers, bomber, biker, puffer, and varsity jackets with leather logo graphics, LV florals and embossed monograms all in the spirit of sport. For Abloh’s final word at the Parisian atelier he declares, “Don’t let your day job define you.” The collection drops in stores in March so don’t forget to bookmark this sentimental selection.

Dior highlights Italian artist Anna Paparatti for its SS22 campaign
Keeping it cool at the office never looked so good. Dior’s SS22 womenswear campaign celebrates Italian artist Anna Paparatti, who designed the set for its catwalk presentation last autumn. Hyperkinetic and chromatic, it’s an eye-catching collection of apricot frocks, single-breasted blazers and grass green peacoats exploring 1950s silhouettes, designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri. But what’s really special is the collection’s fresh take on the Lady Dior handbag, this time going micro-mini for a playful feel. Shop here.

Balmain’s SS22 campaign takes us backstage
For its SS22 campaign, the Balmain army has enlisted Naomi Campbell, Carla Bruni, Lara Stone and more into its ranks. Captured by photographer duo Mert and Marcus on the steps of La Seine Musicale’s backstage – the concert hall where Balmain’s SS22 catwalk took place in September – it’s a seductive, sensual, and spontaneous behind the scenes display. Beyond the power poses, the range includes cool corsetry, form-fitted dresses and strappy sandals in bold metallics and subtle neutral tones – prepped and primed to set you centre stage this summer. Shop the collection here.
