Fendi Prints On: Steven Klein Directs A Music Video Celebrating Nicki Minaj’s Collab with the Italian Fashion House

Autumn might have officially kicked off this week, but Hot Girl Summer is an eternal mood. Sure, the sky may be turning all shades of grey but that doesn’t mean your style has to reflect it. Instead, now more than ever is an opportunity to embrace bold colours which can bring some much needed joy at a time when global politics seem to be crumbling along with the climate. If the SS20 collections which have rolled out during Fashion Month are any indication, designers are on the same page.

When we first caught wind of the Fendi X Nicki Minaj collaboration we knew the project was going to be unabashedly fierce, just like the rapper herself. We now know that Fendi Prints On will feature an array of monogrammed bodycons, fluorescent puffers and a fuzzy version of the Baguette. Ms. Onika worked with Silvia Venturini Fendi to design the collection, which is the next chapter of the luxury house’s FF series.

The campaign for Fendi Prints On has already created a buzz which features a tribe of sun glazed models being led by the Fendi dipped head-to-toe Nicki. While the collection won’t launch until October 14th, there’s new music to celebrate the forthcoming drop which is fitting for this music-fashion crossover. Fendi, which is available for download and streaming todayis the bubbly, spitfire track you get when Philadelphia-bred rapper PnB Rock, Minaj, and Murda Beatz team up. Just a little something to hold you until Fendi Prints On goes live.

Nicki Minaj’s Fendi Prints On collection will launch online October 14th and will be sold in selected stores worldwide starting October 16th.
