Kai-Isaiah Jamal wears Burberry as the Second Cover Star of Issue 65, Celebrating 10 Magazine’s 20th Anniversary

We’re continuing our 20th Anniversary celebrations with the second of four covers of Issue 65, starring the creative polymath that is Kai-Isaiah Jamal. The artist, poet and visibility activist is photographed by Adama Jalloh and styled by our editor-in-chief Sophia Neophitou-Apostolou, wearing signature pieces from Burberry’s AW20 collection. Jamal is a treasure to have part of our 10 extended family, and we can’t wait for you to get your hands on this issue – hitting newsstands October 8th. 

“I don’t know if I know what family means. I’ve spent a long time trying to make sense of it. I think it’s wherever feels warm. Wherever feels safe. Where the lights stay on. I think it’s an unconditional love. I got different kinds of love with different family. All I know is, when I have my own family, not one single person in it will never not know they are loved forever, regardless of what they do or who they are or who they love. Just that they are mine after they are theirs and I am theirs in the same manner” – Kai-Isaiah Jamal.
