Hermès is celebrating the latest issue of its Le Monde d’Hermès magazine by opening its own kiosk in the middle of Soho Square. Painted fittingly in Hermès orange and 3D-printed using recycled plastic waste, the general public are invited to the kiosk to grab a free copy of the publication and explore “creativity, curiosity and diversity of the world of Hermès,” through its pages.
Taking place now until Saturday evening, the kiosk will offer coffee to passersby, as well as the opportunity to have their portrait drawn by a local artist. There’s also the chance to receive a personal poem and you can even tour through the space on a peddle-powered rickshaw – talk about travelling in style.
Not in London? Not to worry, the Le Monde d’Hermès kiosk is on its own worldwide adventure. Already travelling to Prague, Barcelona, Singapore, Knokke, Rotterdam and Tokyo before landing in London, keep a look out for the little orange hut – it might just arrive in a city near you.
‘Le Monde d’Hermès’ kiosk is open October 13-15, 11am to 5pm, at Soho Square, London, W1D 3QJ. Entry is free.
