Palace x Gucci Will Take Your Brain To Another Dimension

If you thought Gucci was done with its internet-shattering collaborations, think again. After team-ups with everyone from Balenciaga through to Adidas, the Italian fashion giant has joined forces with the lads at Palace for a collection that fuses the language of both brands.

Following weeks of speculation, the Palace Gucci collection will arrive exclusively on the Gucci Vault – the brand’s meticulously curated, digital concept store – next Friday, October 21. For the first time ever, Gucci Vault will also step offline via a series of pop-up shops in Paris, Milan, Tokyo, Osaka and Bangkok. No stranger to collaborations either (Palace has released capsules with Moschino, Harrods and Polo Ralph Lauren), the London-based label is letting Gucci takeover its stores globally, also.

Despite on paper being vastly different, the collaboration focuses on the pair’s shared traits and celebrates their “inherently Italian” and “boldly British” identities. As for what’s on offer, the collab features Palace’s first womenswear designs, including club-ready miniskirts and bra-tops that merge Gucci’s double-G monogram with Palace’s Tri-Ferg emblem. There’s also an updated version of the Gucci Horsebit loafer, co-branded footy jerseys and a 50-piece V7 motorbike edit made in partnership with Moto Guzzi.

The brands christened the collab with a trippy film directed by Max Siedentopf, where the Palace lot party in a swanky gaff with an alien (as you do), soundtracked by The Prodigy’s “Out of Space”. It’ll take your brains to another dimension.
