Everyone deserves a summer that pans out like Call Me By Your Name. Sun-kissed days on end spent in the Italian countryside, reading literature, drinking wine and flirting with a summer fling. This etherial summer spirit has been channeled in the latest Fendi menswear campaign, lensed by CMBYN and Suspiria director Luca Guadagnino, who has been a guest artist for the brand’s SS20 collection.
Under the creative direction of Silvia Venturini Fendi, Guadagnino follows models Romaine Dixon and Etienne de Testa as they venture through a lavish garden buried in Bagnoli di Sopra near Padua, Northern Italy. The fine Fendi fashions both of the boys are wearing align nicely with their green surroundings, with forest greens, muted beiges and earthy browns dominating the collection. The campaign video is a prime opportunity to catch a closer glimpse at the fantastic Fendi goodies that are currently available to pick up at the Harrods Fendi men’s Piazza pop up. The interior, like the collection, is inspired by horticulture – uniting Luca Guadagnino and Silvia Venturini Fendi’s vision for the collection under one roof. A chance to grab yourself some Fendi fashions whilst being at one with nature – even Alan Titchmarsh would be left impressed.
The Fendi Men’s Piazza pop up is open until February 6, 2020 at Harrods 87-135 Brompton Road, Knightsbridge, London SW1X 7XL.
