It’s been ten whole years since Doutzen Kroes made her modelling debut with Paparazzi Model Management in the Netherlands. And what a decade it’s been. Though she aspired to be a speed skater as a child (her parent were both champions), the Dutchwoman has become one of the world’s highest-paid models, most famous for her work for Victoria’s Secret – it would have been such a waste for her to be covered up in a lycra speed skating suit, don’t you think? As well as her work as a VS Angel, Kroes has walked for Valentino, Fendi, Givenchy, Christian Dior and Prada (any high fashion brand you care to mention, really). So congratulations on ten years of stellar modelling work, Doutzen, and here’s to many more.
