Want to live la dolce vita? Great! Because Dior’s latest summer capsule collection might just be the indolent escape you need. With a breezy edit of ready-to-wear garments, leather goods and fabulous footwear, this annual collection, dubbed Dioriviera, is extending an unmissable invitation that offers its clientele a halcyon getaway from the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life.
Designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri, the collection is set to be revealed through a repertoire of ephemeral showcases set in a series of magical, sunny escapes around the globe. From Mykonos to Bodrum, Capri to Ibiza, Tokyo to Paraggi to Forte dei Marmi, Dior concept stores worldwide will be repeatedly reinvented and pacified for Dioriviera.

Like something from a fairytale, the walls of each pop-up shop come dressed in Dior’s classic toile de Jouy, like a sheath in the dreamlike setting. As though it were a lush jungle, wild animals emerge – giraffes, tigers, elephants and monkeys come to life as life-size sculptures and reappear throughout the skirts, dresses, shorts, swimwear and accessories on display. You can even scan the Dioriviera packaging to see the iconic motif’s animals begin to animate.

If you’re curious to know what’s in stock, you can expect to see several placemats, parasols and tote bags, as well as espadrilles, hammocks, stationery, cushions, DiorClub ponchos, Dway mules, sailor tops imprinted with the names of seaside destinations. There’s also the customisable Vespa 946 Christian Dior – vroom, vroom! Each product finds its roots in the house’s autumn/winter 2022 collection with fluorescent shades of azure blue, tangerine and magenta.
What’s more, a selection of Dior Maison summer essentials such as deckchairs, parasols and cushions, furnish the Southeast Asian beachfront venues. In Tokyo and Sanya, China, visitors also can see the clothes on display in circular, wooden structures; as if floating on water, the installations act as an ode to nature.
And to top it all off, a brand new filter that lets users try on twoDiorClub visors or three silk accessories, is now available across Dior social channels.
It’s time to indulge, so grab a sweet piña colada, let the sun kiss your skin and massage the sand between your toes – but don’t forget to do it in Dioriviera.
