The Fashion Awards are quickly approaching and today the British Fashion Council has revealed their New Wave: Creatives list for 2019. For the second edition of the category, the BFC asked a voting panel of 2,500 international fashion industry insiders to nominate the most dynamic young creative talent working in the industry today. The list celebrates the 100 exciting creative trailblazers from over 20 countries, working across the fields of writing, styling, image-making, make-up, hair, nails, casting, cultural commentary, set design and floristry.
Amongst those recognised come a plethora of past and present Ten collaborators including 10 Magazine Issue 63 cover star Adesuwa Aighewi, captured by Dexter Navy, 10+ issue Two Commandments photographer Aiden Zamiri, illustrator Stephen Doherty as well as Mark Kean, Charlotte Wales, Madde Østlie, Emilie Åström, Celia Burton and Miriam Marlene Waldner, to name only but a few. Congrats to you all, and in the words of Kris Kardashian: “You’re doing amazing sweetie.” Keep up the fabulous work.
The New Wave: Creatives will be celebrated at Fashion Awards 2019 at the Royal Albert Hall in London on 2nd December.
