In this morning’s, or should that be last night’s breaking news, Natalie Massenet has resigned as executive chairwoman of the Net-a-Porter Group ahead of it’s planned merger with Yoox.com. The news, confirmed in a statement released by Yoox.com says that, “Ms Massenet will not be a member of the board of directors of the new group, which will result from the upcoming merger”. According to WWD.com, “Massenet was to be executive chairman of the new company with defined responsibilities, but she now has severed all ties with the company and won’t be a member of the board of directors of the new group”. We await news of her next move.
