Move over The Crystal Maze, there’s a new immersive experience in town. And frankly, the prize at the end is much more desirable. Submerged beneath central London’s underbelly, yesterday’s MM6 collection was unlike your typical fashion show. Trekking through the dimly-lit maze models would brush past you in their chunky puffas, made in collaboration with The North Face. They came stamped in both brand’s logos and splashed in subtle pinks and royal blues. The dynamic duo also created extra-long fleeces and slender waterproofs – expect queues down the street upon their release. Moving away from the outerwear, zebra prints in a range of hues reigned throughout, as did leather. The latter looked particularly great on a fringed jacket, and skin-tight trousers paired with ankle boots that had a gold chain accent. The maze ended with us finding the procession of models all stood as one, strong and fearless in their MM6 armour. Despite it being the sister line to Maison Margiela, MM6 is no second best when it comes to creating ultra-desirable garments. Who would’ve thought, a fashion show that could cure our fear of mazes after watching The Shining?
