Utilitarian glamour. Well what else do you call a pair of distressed sequin waders. They’d be good for fishing. Don’t shiny things attract fish? More so than worms? Not that we’d know seeing as we don’t fish, and anyway, fishing is hardly the point of MM6′s cruise collection. Essentially, this is simply a collection of wearable and updated separates. The perfectly tweaked utility jacket, pleather dress, skinny ribbed knit, all layered atop of each and worn as if they’re about to fall off the body. It almost looks like a science experiment gone wrong, a lab explosion from which you emerge looking a little dazed. That could just be the clear science googles though, or the plastic bags worn over the thick soled sandals that ever so slightly resemble something you’d wear in a science lab, the effect heighten by the plastic bags over them in some cases. Which Ted says reminds him of trendy youngsters wearing bags over their Jordan’s to keep them box fresh.
