How very modern, very avant-garde. A beautiful marble haven. Wouldn’t you agree, the collection screamed for a transparent display box on which to elegantly drape one’s self. Viviane Sassen, an excellent choice, shows of her skills at their best with geometric shapes and figure abstracting poses galore. Transforming Saskia De Brauw’s elegant frame into some kind of striking contemporary sculpture you might stumble across in the Gagosian Gallery, at home amongst the likes of Richard Artschwager. ‘Oh the colours, the shapes, the composition!’ Words that seem to go down well in an exhibition setting if perhaps you find yourself lost for the right ones. Or try these “It is an interlay of veining that brings energy, strength, and intensity”. Indeed.
