Breaking news! Like we will be doing in around eight a half hours (not that we’re counting) Maxwell Osborne and Dao-Yi Chow are exiting the building. That building being DKNY, where the pair have been Creative Directors since April 2015. Which is sad news indeed – we were huge fans of the boys’ work for the New York brand. Luckily, though, we will not be completely bereft of their talents – they will continue to front their own brand Public School. “Given the company sale and subsequent change in strategies, we have decided to step down and focus on our own business Public School,” the said in a statement. “It’s been an unbelievable experience to work side by side with the wonderful people at DKNY, especially our amazing design team and atelier. We wish the company success in the future.” What’s next for DKNY? Will Donna make a grand return? Either way, we wish the boys the best for the future from all at Ten Towers. Stay tuned.
