Oh we do like to be beside the seaside. So does MaxMara who roped their aesthetic gang-plank to HMS Pinafore and sent out a wave of lovely land-lubbing ladies in ship-shape nautical attire. Did we get enough nautical puns in there? The core of this collection was a slick array of maletot stripes, pea coats, wriggly jiggly bosun’s knot prints and oversized lightweight coats billowing seductively. Like the undiscovered depths of the ocean, this collection was teeming with rich life, and we made out like pirates with the booty.
