Martine Rose is cruising in the fast lane. Following her AW23 show at Pitti Uomo in January, the beloved London designer takes it up a gear with a joint collection with Stüssy.
The Cali streetwear pioneers have linked-up with Rose on a capsule based on the “art of driving”. Prepped and primed with a bunch of goodies to give your banger a much-needed face lift, the collection includes a fuzzy leopard print steering wheel cover (Pat Butcher eat your heart out), a co-branded car mat and a scented air freshener.
If you’re looking to really impress with your whip, though, the collection’s windscreen protector is a must. Featuring a group of Rose’s London muses, a similar graphic appears on a hoodie which makes up the collection’s apparel line, alongside two co-branded tees and a pair of leather driving gloves. Serious business.
This isn’t Rose’s first all-star collaboration, of course. The designer has released collections with both Nike and Napapijri, and last November subverted Ivy League dressing through a joint collection with Tommy Hilfiger’s Tommy Jeans.
The Stüssy and Martine Rose collection will hit stores this Friday, April 14, with pieces expected to race off the shelves. You’d best get a move on.
