This afternoon there is cause for celebration. Not only because we’re approaching a bank holiday weekend but because London-based “hip ‘n’ happening” brand Marques Almeida have scooped the prestigious LVMH Prize. Will says that he is “looking forward to seeing what the brand do with financial investment.” Well, now he will be able to see. With 300,000 euros (ker-ching) heading to their company bank account, as well as a year-long mentorship from the LVMH Group, we’re expecting great, fashion-y things from the pair. Congratulations Marquey – you’ve done yourselves and Londinium proud. We’ll be raising our full-to-overflowing glasses of champy in your direction ce soir.
