Fresh after their Couture show last night Valentino have announced that Maria Grazia Chiuri will be leaving her role as Co-Creative Director, leaving Pierpaolo Piccioli as the sole Creative Director. After a huge 17 years at the house, 8 of those working alongisde Pierpaolo as Co-Creative Director Maria will be moving on, but where to? Dior is the word on everybody’s lips, but no official word from them as of yet. Sad face that Maria and Pierpaolo will no longer be designing together, but a great chance for us to see both of them working alone on their designs. “I am ready to embark on a new professional challenge.” she said. And we can’t wait to see what that may be.
