Marc Newson and Pentax unveiled their collaboratively designed Pentax K-01 digital hybrid camera last night with champagne cocktails at Paris store, Colette. Newson has suceeded in his aim to combine cutting edge technology with iconic design while staying true to Pentax’s roots. Basically we think it’s dead good. It’s designed for those concerned with both image and image quality, and according to Pentax themselves, Newson’s design has “soft rubberized accents for timeless, trusty and touchable appeal”. Sounds rather….kinky?!
