This season, the Margiela girl has an air of intelligence about her. An air of feminism. An air of “I shave my legs because I want to, not because society dictates that I should.” Maybe it’s the glasses. Maybe she was born with it. Maybe it’s Maybelline. She’s dressed in a palette of beige and jewel tones – emerald green, ruby red and sapphire blue – not to mention some sequins. Silhouettes are long and languid, laid-back and effortlessly (or at least pertaining to be) elegant. We love.
