Louis Vuitton rewilds Chelsea

Coming together to create Central London’s first-ever heritage forest, Louis Vuitton, Sugi and Cadogan have joined forces to restore biodiversity, reintroduce native species and reconnect people with nature. 77 native species will be planted across a 240sqm pocket forest set in London’s Chelsea neighbourhood, including 22 tree species and 55 native wildflowers. The project comes as a continuation of the house’s efforts to preserve natural resources by 2025. Andrea Sacal

Ifeanyi Okwuadi takes the top prize at the Hyères Fashion Festival

The Hyères International Festival of Fashion and Photography made a triumphant return with its 36th edition last weekend, which saw British designer Ifeanyi Okwuadi take home the top prize for his eponymous menswear label. Okwuadi, who is based in North London, is currently completing his MA at Central Saint Martins, and will receive 20,000 euros and will be granted a chance to collaborate with Chanel as part of its Métiers d’art show in December. The ten design finalists were whittled down from 250 entries from across the globe, with designer Sofia Ilmonen taking home the inaugural Mercedes-Benz Sustainability Prize. Shushu/Tong’s debuts a comic-inspired SS22 Collection

We all love a good comic book, and now you can envelop your body in Shushu/Tong’s SS22 collection that will have you looking like a character straight out of Aim for the Ace! Debuted during Shanghai Fashion Week, the label’s SS22 collection incorporates its classic floral elements, bows and oversized silhouettes, achieving a futuristic aesthetic along the way. Contrasting panels of luxurious tweed fabrics are seen alongside advanced knitwear techniques that make for eye-catching textured garments. AS

Dunhill creates a film for Frieze

Although Frieze London’s is now behind us, Dunhill has collaborated with the art giant on a new short film that documents the creative practices of Mark Weston and American photographic artist Ellen Carey. The film documents the duo’s creative process during the creation of Dunhill’s SS22 collection. Their collaboration sees selected works applied to Dunhill silhouettes, decorating the collection with bold and colourful prints. AS

Heron Preston and Calvin Klein come together for Season 2

For its joint Season 2 collection, Heron Preston and Calvin Klein reference streetwear and the idea of essentials through a shared lens. The collection keeps Calvin Klein’s DNA in mind, letting Preston have his spin on classic CK styles. The joint collection introduces sustainably sourced materials crafted into straight-leg joggers, bralettes, crop tops, leggings, shirt jackets and puffers. Say hello to your new everyday essentials. Robyn Lynch x Columbia arrives at Browns Fashion

After teaming up with cycling experts Rapha last year, NEWGEN designer Robyn Lynch has launched her collaborative collection with Columbia, exclusively available at Browns Fashion. Inspired by her teenage years growing up in Ireland, Lynch unpicked and deconstructed deadstock Columbia pieces, piecing them together again using patterns from her back catalogue. Nicholas Daley launches exclusive capsule with Mr Porter

Drawing on his Scottish and Jamaican heritage, menswear designer Nicholas Daley has put together an exclusive capsule collection for Mr Porter. Consisting of 13 pieces in total, the collection features parkas, a mohair/Curtis wool blended jacket and a tie-dye hoodie stamped with the designer’s Reggae Klub emblem; borrowed from the club night his parents ran in Scotland through the eighties. Bianca Saunders lands at Selfridges

After being announced as the winner of this year’s Andam Fashion Award, menswear designer Bianca Saunders welcomes a new stockist to her flourishing namesake label. Sacai imagines a new world for SS22

Maintaining her signature deconstructed look and futueristic tailoring, Sacai’s Chitose Abe has imagined a new world for the label’s SS22 collection. The collection takes inspiration from the house’s original lingerie influences and presents exaggerated shoulders constructed from 3D folds. This season proposes a series of ‘double take’ looks that have been crafted from different wardrobe elements that bring a new shape to familiar garments. AS

Uncovering a sense of adventure with its latest bag collection, Kenzo’s new Courier Line is made for young, fearless adventurers. MSGM’s teams up with Alessandro Calabrese

Blurring the boundaries of reality and abstraction, artist Alessandro Calabrese has come together with MSGM to create a special project for its AW21 collection. Bringing homogeneous images to life, the artist has crafted a series of memes, short performances and installations that come together from the beauty of artistic error. Calabrese mixes together scanners, film images and intimate performance. AS
