Gosh – there’s something quite cruel about receiving this on a Monday morning in November where it’s about -30 degrees outside and probably a bit less than that in the office because we aren’t allowed the heating on (IDK – something about saving money). Because this, Louis Vuitton’s Cruise 2018 campaign, radiates “holiday”. Snapped in the Ibiza sunshine by Patrick Demarchelier, the gorgeous actress (and Ghesquière muse) Alicia Vikander wears looks from the house’s Cruise collection shown earlier this year in Kyoto, Japan. Ms Vikander gives what I want to call a sort of Princess Di on a yacht moment as she stares wistfully out into the ether with only a couple of very nice handbags for company (if you’re interested – the house classic Capucines, and the Twist, Monsieur Ghesquière’s addition to the LV accessories familia). Please also note our appreciation for the bikini and matching hat situation, a look that we here at Ten HQ are planning to “make winter” by wearing accessorising with a large fur coat. Too much? Never.
