Louis Vuitton Paris Ss16 Nile Rodgers Mixed Up

Nile Rodgers mixed up his greatest hits to accompany a Louis Vuitton collection that will go down as one of Kim Jones’ best, too. Instead of a specific locale, Jones was inspired by travel itself, mashing together disparate influences, like South East Asian embroideries and Los Angelean sportswear. There were also plenty of blankets and slithery silky pyjamas, like the sleeper suits you get in Virgin Upperclass. But really, really expensive ones. We haven’t even started talking about the bags. There were lots. He turned the monogram white, and blue, and striped it all chicly. Which, incidentally, was what Nile Rodgers opened that soundtrack with.
