LOUIS VUITTON: CLASSIC SERENISSIMA RUN- WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT
Dearest L.V if your feeling particularly generous in the next week or so, we’d love the enclosed 1923 Bugatti Type 23, as our sample returns run-around. A 10-mobile if you will?! Oh wait- this mail out isn’t the usual. The attached isn’t in fact available to buy, but the winner of this years Classic Serenissima Run, the prize giving for which is held in Piazza San Giorgio every year, to commemorate the brands long association with automobiles. In 1897 the show inaugurated the arrival of L.V’s signed prototype trunk, adapted to the profile of a cars body, and luxury car travels played an important role in inspiring the brands ‘art of travel’ spirit, ever since. Once more- purleasseee can we have one? Somehow? We promise to shine it every morning, and leave no take-away wrappers in the glove compartment! Ever.
