Christian Louboutin has embraced digital fashion with open arms. The footwear icon has launched its last two collections on the animated gaming app Zepeto, as well as a 3D interactive experience: LoubiAirways. For its menswear collection, the brand presents LoubiFuture; an immersive experience that “mixes augmented and extended realities” in a retro-infused platform.
Starring French singer Julien Granel, the experience allows viewers to venture through an eighties-inspired Vaporwave, soundtracked to Granel’s track “Mirage”. After walking through the neon skyscrapers of LoubiTown, an apricot-skied beach and a tropical wildlife adventure, users eventually end up in the virtual Christian Louboutin showroom, spotlighting the brand’s latest additions. Highlights include The Arpoador, a sneaker that pays tribute to Christian Louboutin’s love for Brazil; the Our Georges, equipped with a light lug sole; and a series of new leather goods: the BackParis backpack, the LoubiTown pouch and the Ruistote bag. All prepped and ready to dress you in a post-pandemic world.
