I want to call this fisherman. It’s not fisherman, but there’s something ‘fishy’ about this. Basically, it’s a collection of very well made, well designed separates, or what women’s magazines will call, “building blocks of a wearable wardrobe”. And while some may snort at that, it does make sense, because, after all, you do have to wake up and get dressed every morning and leave the house, so it’s kind of nice that there’s a designer that takes these trivial matters into account. Anyway, think utility, think summer basics, think a palette of pastel blues, faded oranges and Prince of Wales check. Think thin, misty almost plastics, visible seaming, inside out but kept on the inside and damp skin. Fabrics that cling. It might look basic but its not.
