As we gear up for another season of digital shows, the fashion industry of today is completely unrecognisable to one we occupied a year ago from now. The idea of being crammed into tightly-packed rows, darting from venue to venue, seems alien in comparison to the fashion weeks of today – where the kitchen table has become the new front row.
Whilst it may have been difficult adjusting at first, our designers here in London have proved triumphant when it comes to showing purely online. With the city’s mens- and womenswear collections now combined, the London Fashion Week roster is prepped and ready for what’s going to be another monumental season for British fashion. Here’s what 10 designers have in store.
Eden Loweth (Art School)
“Art School autumn/winter 2021, entitled Ascension, will mark a new chapter and the turning of the page for both the brand and myself. Over the past six months, I’ve spent time building a new team and mapping out the brand’s evolution. The collection itself is a dystopian new view of the Art School wider community, our place in the world and the relationships we form in trying times. Powerful, moving and the start of a new beginning.”
Rory Parnell Mooney (Parnell Mooney)
“It’s about, poetry and romance and nightclubs and queuing and smoking areas and office attire and opulence and the everyday and dress up and comfort and sex appeal and confidence and dancing and dressing up.”

Saul Nash
“AW21 will subvert expectations. It’s a story of acceptance and love. I don’t usually share too much before a show, but I am extremely excited for everyone to experience what I’ve been working on this season.”
Goom Heo (Fashion East)
“The collection takes inspiration from themes surrounding “horror,” and includes heavier silhouettes with gritty yet sensitive textures.”
Per Götesson
“For AW21, we spent a lot of time applying new processes, to create a capsule that reflects a moment in time. We have moved into a much bigger studio with new machines, which has allowed me to spend a lot of time on each piece individually during the lockdown. I’m very excited to have been able to pause, review and do things differently this season. The way that we have built the range and developed the collection this season is a statement to that.”
Bianca Saunders
Priya Ahluwalia (Ahluwalia)
“This season I’ve really embraced the fact that we can’t celebrate physically together, so for London Fashion Week, I have been working with an amazing director on creating a film that people can enjoy and watch digitally, no matter where they are in the world.”
Jawara Alleyne (Fashion East)
“Out of many, we are one, founded upon the seas where all the world’s a stage. A ship sets sail on an odyssey through space and time.”
Nicholas Daley
“For this LFW, I’ve showcased my SS21 campaign video; Stepping Razor featuring former World and European Karate champion Jordan Thomas. The film is in homage to Peter Tosh, the roots reggae legend and Martial Arts enthusiast. Here, Jordan encapsulated Tosh’s warrior spirit of revolution and highlights the legacy of British Black karate athletes.”
Priya Ahluwalia of Ahluwalia
Bianca Saunders
“The AW21 collection will show a deeper dive into my creative process of the fashion film. Film has become such an important aspect of the brand; it really has become an intrinsic tool to convey the language within my work. Artistically collaborating with others has become such a big part of it.”
HRH (Fashion East)
“A dynamic accessories capsule exploring texture form and scale, celebrating my love of adornment in sports.”
