Loewe aren’t messing around. Ahead of their presentation on Thursday at Paris Men’s Fashion Week, Loewe has previewed its Spring/ Summer 2019 advertising campaign. The campaign consists of three images that are about to bombard our fashion filled worlds in Paris this week, rolling out over news kiosks and walls around the city. Shot by Steven Meisel the first photograph features model Oscar Kindelan as a younger Steven. Personal and also quite fabulous. We like Steven’s style. Also let’s talk about this new collection, is the headband part of it? Low hung pants, belted with floppy sleeved shirts. A Loewe look. The second image, also by Meisel, is the ultimate summer moment, featuring actor Josh O’Connor in what is apparently an artificial summer set but whatever it is and wherever he is we have our eyes on those sunglasses from the SS19 eyewear collection. So much drama paired with a very Jonathan Anderson-esque vivd striped shirt. The third photograph is simply a series of bags, like sisters, shot by Adrien Toubiana and Thomas Cristiani, but most importantly showcasing the new smallest version of the Gate bag. The Mini Gate. Here at Ten Towers we are weirdly obsessed with mini bags. The more impractical, the better. Loewe SS19 looks good. To Paris.
