The AW19 London Fashion Week Men’s Is Kicking Off Tomorrow – Here’s What We’re In For

Can you hear that noise? Don’t be scared, it’s just the sound of male model troupes stomping down to London, just in time for the London Fashion Week Men’s AW19 shows. For the first time, the LFWM hub is situated in the heart of London’s East End, inside Shoreditch’s Truman Brewery space, where the first two out of three days will be based around. It’s all kicking off tomorrow with Art School’s first ever standalone show – 9 AM sharp, and the fashion crowds will descend onto the old industrial space, where yet another year of fashion extravaganzas will commence.

Over the next three days, a mix of established faces and talented up-and-comers will show what they imagined for the next season. Charles Jeffrey, Iceberg, Liam Hodges and Edward Crutchley are headlining Saturday with their colourful take on menswear. The busiest day will definitely be Sunday with 18 on-schedule shows and presentations with names including David Beckham’s Kent & Curwen, Chalayan, Kiko Kostadinov and Fashion East topping our list. Monday is the final day of the shows and will kick off with arguably the hottest show of the season – Craig Green’s homecoming after last season’s Pitti Uomo outing. Samuel Ross of A-Cold-Wall*, Paria Farzaneh and the will upcoming trio of Bianca Saunders, Boramy Viguier and Ludovic de Saint Sernin will also have their moments to shine on that last day, before we head on over to Florence where the 95th edition of Pitti Uomo will take place, with Y-Project as this year’s guest designers.

What to expect is too hard to say, but what surely know is that LFWM will set the tone for the rest of the world. And if Londoners are good at anything – it’s being the leaders of the pack. 1, 2, 3 – we’re ready to go!
